This is custom server intended for casual players, based on Azerothcore with the playerbots module.

Besides the optional ability for players to team with bots, we have a customized a few aspects of the game beyond the basic WotLK feature set:

  • "Free" heirloom items for all players available in starting zones
  • User-adjustable XP rates
  • Unlimited number of professions, doubled skill-ups
  • Bot-run Auction House

1. First of all, you must create an account. The account is used to log into both the game and our website. Click the Register link on the menu bar above to open the registration page.

2. Install World of Warcraft 3.3.5a client. You can download it (legally) from here: Windows or Mac. You wont need a patch. Download Game Client Recommended addons are here, but you may want to install some of the additional addons from the chromiecraft page.

3. Open up the "World of Warcraft" directory. The default directory is "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft". When you've found it, open up the directory called "data", then go into the directory called either enUS or enGB, depending on your client language.

4. Erase all text and change it to:

set realmlist wow.rudyhome.com

5. Once someone is logged in, up to 600 bots of all levels will start to populate the realm. If you would like to use the bots, you should look at this video for a demonstration of how to team up with bots: Controlling your Playerbots
